Something to look forward to: Google is set to launch the Pixel 9 series and the Pixel Watch 3 at its Made by Google event on August 13. A steady stream of leaks in recent weeks has given us some insight into what to expect from these upcoming devices. Three separate reports have revealed the probable launch dates and prices of select next-gen Pixel products.
Prolific tipster OnLeaks teamed up with 91Mobiles to share multiple marketing slides for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The images give us a clear look at the phone's camera housing on the back and the punch-hole selfie shooter up front. The slides also highlight some of the phone's notable features, such as integrated Gemini, Pixel Screenshots, Circle to Search, and other AI-based functions that will allow users to effortlessly search, save, sort, and organize data.
One of the slides also highlights the Titan M2 security chip and built-in VPN, designed to keep users' personal data safe from hackers. Other notable features include Crisis Alerts and Emergency SOS. The second-generation Fold will also come with Face Unlock on both screens and offer what Google describes as "the best spam detection on any phone."
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to come in two storage options: 256GB and 512GB. According to OnLeaks, the former will be priced at $1,799, while the latter will cost $1,919. If the report is accurate, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be priced the same as the original Pixel Fold that launched last year.
A separate leak from Android Headlines claims the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL will all be available for purchase starting August 22, while the Pixel Buds Pro 2 won't go on sale until September 26. There's currently no information on when the Pixel Watch 3 will begin shipping. All the new Pixel products are expected to go up for pre-order immediately after the launch event on August 13. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to start shipping on September 4.
The 41mm Pixel Watch 3 with Wi-Fi, meanwhile, will be available for $349, while the LTE variant will be priced at $449. As for the larger 45mm model, the Wi-Fi-only version will reportedly have a $399 price tag, while the LTE variant will cost $499.
